How to separate waste and garbage
Not everything is to be thrown away
If possible, one should have three wastebins at home: one for garbage
(food waste, vegetable waste, all organics), one for recycable waste (paper,
glass, plastics) and a third one for unrecycable waste (regular batteries,
all “use and throwaways”). In Buenos Aires city, apart from the regular
garbage disposal system that collects home waste daily, we can also take
recycables to the large containers specially found in all neighbourhoods,
near schools, parks and other public places. More information: www.abuelanaturaleza.blogspot.com
Sew workroom
A solidary project is born
Working together with Asociación Civil Abuela
Naturaleza, in January 2011 the teaching stage began with a group of Cooperativa NuevaMente
families.
Today, the sew workroom produces the Orange Bags, specially designed
by AFUERADENTRO (INSIDEOUT) for this purpose, with reuse of vegetable
and fruit packaging among milk bags.
